The Reverend C.T. Vivian was a fearless champion of human and civil rights. Adjectives like ‘fearless’, ‘champion’, and ‘brilliant,’ are often used to describe him. And although these ring true for the man, we wanted to know about C.T. Vivian the father. To gain insight into this side of his persona, we tapped his son Al Vivian for a Zoom interview where he shared what it was like growing up with a dad who made such an indelible mark in the realm of human rights.
